Thank you, I warmly appreciate that as this has been a struggle to compile and publish. For days, I have been doing a small bit, getting ill again, so back to bed, and try a bit more later. Just hope it makes sense as I'm a bit delirious. I am still tuning up bits so a refresh could show new bits.

I am so sorry you've been ill, dear John. Yes, I loved it, too. It came across as 2 different articles, one about the coming of the word Gaelic, and the second about your feelings regarding communicating with trees. I found both to be very interesting.

Thank you. I have posted two recent articles, this one looking at what ‘tree people’ may be without a scribeable language. The next one ‘communion’ going quite deeply into tree and plant communication and suggesting how to be part of that. Next up, is a lighter feature on getting trees planted. Then I will finish this series this year with a feasture on ‘green presecription’ and the so called ‘forest bathing’. Thaty should wrap this until next year and then I will move on to Bealtaine Frolics through April, with ideas to prep ahead of time.

I enjoyed a little booklet I bought in 1997 called Ogham, An Irish Alphabet by Criostoir Mag Fhearaigh and Tim Stampton. And have studied so much ever since along with the runic systems.

I looked up the McManus you mentioned and found it online through Internet Archive. Thank you. I signed on with a free membership to borrow the book and read it online for an hour.

I hope you will feel better soon!

"This can become a haunting question when people sit with trees but do not quite become present with them. Through those situations, our own worded minds do not quite let go to fully enter into the sensory realm. I believe it is very easy to mix our interpretation of what we sense from a tree with logic we may formulate within our mind. " Thank you for this. I am heading to Santa Fe, NM to be with a grieving friend for a few days. We will be heading out to be with trees, and I will keep this in mind.
