A Misunderstanding - attempt to Clarify
I apologise for confusion when I posted a 'Journaling Nature Folklore' module in two parts a couple of days ago. This was for the paid subscribers as an extra. Substack support suggested that I posted the first two paragraphs as a kind of trailer for free subscribers who may like to upgrade to the course, but that seems to have backfired a bit.
Some subscribers have messaged me complaining about having to pay to read more. They seem to believe that all future articles, from me will now have a PayWall before you can read them. Good news is, absolutely not!
I have many FREE articles on the boil to send to you. I have the Sidhe series to complete. Then a Tree and Woodland folklore series, followed by folklore behind current Permaculture practices. Add to that, one or two Bealtaine articles.
And all of this will be FREE. :-).
Also not only free, but no pop up ads and no algorithms following you around. That's a main reason I chose Substack as a platform.
The paid subscribers do get my course, videos, online and offline workshops all within a what I believe is a nominal €30 to help me cover some of the costs that I have to pay so I can serve the paid stuff. I have seen courses recently offering similar to me and charging more, 2 or 3 times, than my annual fee just for one 2 hour seminar. So I hope you will think I am being fair?
In future, I will not post my course modules with a free part then into a paywall bar again, unless it becomes a Substack requirement, but I doubt that will happen ... I will keep my course and posted articles as separate projects. There will be a link to the course at the end of each article, but it will be subtle and no pop ups.
I trust this makes my current publishing clearer. I look forward to serving you a continuation of the Sidhe series, and much more, FREE very soon.
Many thanks for your support and interest.
